It doesn’t matter what age you are, Mexico Outreach is life-changing. Mexico Outreach was founded on the principle that young people of all ages can be effective in sharing the Gospel, and that within them are many gifts and talents to do so. Who is to say that one of them might not grow into a "Daniel," and another into the next great missionary of our generation? Our prayer is that every participant with Mexico Outreach experiences Jesus Christ and finds themselves renewed in purpose in Him. (From APU website.)
412 Youth Ministry is once again partnering with Azusa Pacific University (APU) this summer (2010)! We will be travelling down to Ensenada, Mexico (Baja California) and ministering with the "Iglesia Evangelica Villa del Real" to the youth and children there. We are currently planning on a Vacation Bible School and youth/adult services for the time we're there. Our ultimate goal is to suppor the ministry of the church and Pastor Mike Ciccarelli. We are honored to partner with this great group of people once again after serving with them in 2005.
We are looking forward to how God will meet the financial need for this trip. Above all else, we are in need of prayer! Only God can do the work, we just have to be willing!

Saginaw Bay Workcamp
SMALL FORMAT WORKCAMP--Capacity 100
In the early days of Bay City, pioneering entrepreneurs seeking fame and fortune came to explore what was then unsettled wilderness. Here they found an intricate system of rivers and lakes on which they could travel and ship goods. Industries flourished and Bay City prospered. Magnificent homes, churches and other public buildings bore testament to the wealth of the area and its leaders. Much has changed since the Bay City region was settled more than 170 years ago...many elderly, widowed and disadvantaged residents are unable (or cannot afford) to keep up their homes. Hard winters and severe spring storms have taken their toll. You can come to this traditional Michigan vacation area, where the Saginaw Bay and riverfront come alive with summer activities and bring hope to people in need.
Nearby: Riverwalk area, downtown shopping district, riverboat cruises, and local art festivals.

In the summer of 2005, students and leaders of 412 youth ministry made a trip down to Ensenada, Mexico for a missions trip. Although Ensenada is a coastal town that has nice malls, restaurants, and attractions for tourists, it is also home to many impoverished villages and people needing to hear the Word of God. During the trip, the students were able to minister to local towns and villages, as well as put on a Vacation Bible School at a local Church led by Pastor Mike . We all stayed at a camp nearby with other churches and youth groups that were part of the Surrender themed missions week. The music was lead by .
Thanks to everyone who helped make this trip a great success.
Thank you for praying, donating supplies, and giving financially for God's kingdom.
We saw great things happen in Mexico as over 75 children were present at VBS at the church in ensenada, and many more at the village of san carlos. the team developed close relationships with the kids despite the language barrier and learned what it truly is to work together as a team. The gospel was preached, and God's love was shown. We did our best to plant the seeds. God, please water them.
Remember these highlights in Mexico???
The cookout at the church (shark tacos).
The Mike and Wayne Show .
The half-dead cow.
Handing out oranges to the kids at the village.
